I'm Emilien Durand, a French-born wedding photographer based in Dublin, Ireland. Since 2023, I've photographed nearly 60 weddings, from small, intimate ceremonies to big family celebrations.
My approach is simple. We start with a short, well-organised round of family photos. Then I step back and let your day happen. I move quietly through the room to catch the real moments: the nerves before the ceremony, the laughter at the table, the hug nobody saw coming. If you see me, it's already too late.
If you enjoy it and the light is right, we'll slip away for ten minutes at sunset for portraits with gentle direction, never stiff or forced.
Many of my couples come from somewhere else, just like me, so I understand what it means to celebrate far from home. Whether you're flying in from abroad or you already call Ireland home, you'll get the same calm presence and honest photographs.
